Christmas Time

Marty and I have had some fun experiences thus far. We both love the holiday season and the chance we get to spend time with our loved ones. We have our first real Christmas tree.  We are currently living in a beautiful home. We are 6 1/2 months pregnant with two very active and adorable boys.  We have had an amazing Christmas vacation filled with family, friends, fun, and great memories!

This year we spent Christmas with the Larsen side. It was quite the experience as many of us were sick. Marty and I came down with something on the 23rd and were still recovering over Christmas Eve and Christmas. As well as many of our other family members who were sick just before, right along with us, or are currently sick now. We had an enjoyable evening on the 24th as we ate pizza, opened presents, hot tubbed (for some of us.. I was quite cozy next to the hot tub by the fire), and opened our gifts to each other. Marty and Gordon had to work the 0600-1400 shift this year the three days around Christmas. I would prefer they didn't work.. but there was one perk to their work schedule this year. We got to wake up EARLY to open presents!! :) There was no way I was waiting till 1400 to open my presents lol. I am still a little kid at heart I guess because I enjoy waking up early to see what Santa has brought us!

Marty and I were spoiled greatly. Not only by each other but also by parents, grandparents, and siblings. We were able to go over to visit the Moss/Reeders for a little bit on Christmas Day. That is one of the perks of having both families in the same town. We have yet to see my older brother and his family but they will be in town soon and we are excited to spend some time with them.

Twin News:

A week ago we were able to get some news on our boys. They are continuing to grow (making mommy look bigger and bigger ;) comes with the territory I guess) and are doing well. At our last appointment (25 weeks) they were measuring 24 weeks and 5 days and 24 weeks and 6 days. They both weighted 1 lb 10 oz (the weight of a bag of chips from Costco lol) and they should be about 10 inches long. Mommy and Daddy are so very excited and cannot wait for their arrival! We have been starting to get ready for their arrival and its making us that much more impatient. We cannot wait for March.. because we do not want them here before then! March will be an exciting month as Becca and Phil will be getting married. We are excited for them as well. Last week we were only able to get some good 3D images of baby A. Unfortunately baby B didn't feel like showing off his cuteness.. but since they are identical I figure one will do ;) I have another ultrasound in a week and I'm sure we will get more photos of our boys. Be expecting photos!!

Photos for this post will come soon!
