2012 happenings!!

Just thought I would summarize some of the things that happened to Marty and I in 2012. 

In January Marty purposed in the most surprising way! He took me out rock climbing and asked me to 'top out' after which he asked for my hand. :) I was COMPLETELY caught off guard and EXTREMELY happy! I was hoping it would happen soon but in no way expected it to happen while rock climbing!! Such a sweet and memorable way to ask me to be his forever.

The end of January my brother and his wife, Heather, had their first little boy Will. He is adorable and I just love him! 

He made me baby hungry. Go figure!

We love living in St. George and having the beautiful weather we have year-round. We are always outdoors or looking for something fun to do.

Marty and I decided to be married for time and all eternity on March 2nd, 2012 in the St. George LDS Temple.  It was a day we had both long anticipated and it was well worth the wait. We are thankful to all the family and friends who helped make it such a special day for us. 

Finally!! I had always imagined what it would be like to walk out of these doors and who it would be with :)

One of the best days of our lives :) 

In June Gordon stole Marty away from me to take him and Eric to Africa. They were gone for about 2 1/2 weeks. It was surprisingly hard  after having him leave for his mission it almost felt as if he would not be home for another 2 years. Fortunately we got pictures and we able to FaceTime as well as email back and forth at times. We are very grateful for modern technology.

I went to Disneyland with Sheri, Debbie, Siena and Cara while the boys were in Africa. It was a fun trip!! 

In July Marty and I decided we wanted to start our family. We didn't think it would happen as fast as it did or as grow as quickly but we are extremely excited and cannot wait for our boys to arrive!! Anytime March 2013!

In October we went to Lake Powell for a few days. It was quite cold but we enjoyed our trip.

In September I turned 22 years old! Here are a few photos of my birthday celebration.

In October I was promoted at work. Dr. Graf invited me to become a full time employee instead of the three days I had been there. It has been a huge blessing and I have been able to continue moving up and certifying to continue my education there for which I am extremely grateful.  I just became a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) this January!

November brought Marty's 22nd birthday.

This Thanksgiving we were able to spend it with just about all of our family. We got two meals on actual Thanksgiving day and then the day after we drove to Vegas to be with my dad, Kim, and the rest of the family. We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving!

This Christmas we spent with the Larsen side of our family. We had an enjoyable time eating pizza, hot tubbing, opening gifts, and just being together.

New years we spent with one of our good couple friends, the Sanders. Nick and Micadyn invited us over to celebrate the new year with them. We enjoyed some cupcakes, watched a movie, played games, and watched the ball drop. It was a great way to end 2012. We are excited for 2013!

We cannot wait to see what all is in store for 2013! We cannot wait to meet our boys and are very excited to welcome them into the family! Just finishing up getting everything ready for them to come!
