Let the Countdown begin!!

At our appointment on Wednesday this week we found out that both of the boys are doing great! They are getting ready to come here soon :) as of Wednesday I was dilated to a 2 and 80% effaced! (It was also apparent that the boys had dropped). Now I know that being dilated to a 2 and being 80% effaced can mean that I can stay that way for hours, days, or even weeks.. or it can be anytime! There was a rule recently changed that they wouldn't induce a woman pregnant with twins until 38 weeks; it used to be 37. One thing I've learned is that when you are pregnant a week is a LONG time. Especially lately. I have been uncomfortably huge for a few weeks now and I'm ready for it to be over. As I'm sure is Marty lol. The good news is.. (Marty and I think its good) that since our boys are mono chorionic twins the Perinatologist told me he won't let me go past 37 weeks!! (Yay!) As of right now 37 weeks is 2 weeks and 2 days away!!! Let the countdown begin (16 days)! :) Marty and I are stoked and cannot wait to meet our little guys!!
