Brianhead

I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Brianhead this season on March 21st to snowboard. Gordon and Deb were going up with the youth in their ward. Deb went up the night before to stay at the cabin with the youth. Gordon invited me to go with him while Mart stayed home with the boys. I sure appreciate Marty letting me go. Eric's friend Zac also rode up with us. 

I was slightly worried at my ability to snowboard since it had been so long but I felt really good. It's like riding a bike.. Something you never forget. I felt like I kept up with Gordon pretty well though I know he could push harder if he wanted to. I might've been able to but who knows. We met up with Deb and the ward for lunch at the Navajo lodge. Eric was on a day date for Preference and wasn't there to join us. Deb also joined us for the remainder of the afternoon. I had a good time snowboarding and I'm so glad I was able to go. I'm grateful for such wonderful in-laws that I have been blessed with and for the  relationships I have with them. They are so loving and I hope they know how grateful I am to also have them as my Mom and Dad.
