Lake Powell

At the beginning of this month Marty and I were able to go on the Annual Larsen Lake Powell trip. I have only been one other time.. It was about 3 years ago right before Marty left on his mission. The crew included Gordon, Debbie, Eric, Marty, and I. When we arrived the weather wasn't looking very good. It was cloudy and as we launched the boat it actually started raining on us. We were persistent though.

Our arrival..
We found the beach that we had actually camped out on 3 years ago when I had come with them the first time. We were able to get our camp set up and enjoyed some wake skate runs that evening. I, unfortunately, was unable to do anything.. being that I was a little over my 3 months mark. I enjoyed everyones company and the nice thunder and lightening storm that came that evening. I actually started feeling the babies move that trip and I felt fantastic which was a relief to me!

Our gorgeous view

Friday was cold, windy, and rainy but we still enjoyed a hike and a few runs that evening as well. Saturday was quite nice.

Morning hot chocolate
Gordon & Debbie & the nice weather
As you can see it warmed right up and the winds settled down just in time for us to leave. We were all sad to go but all in all I think it was a fun trip and I'm glad we were able to make it this year! I think Mart is already planning on taking our two little ones next year. We'll have to see about that.. :)
