marty + hailey: Two very active little boys!!

About two weeks ago on Wednesday Marty and I were able to see our little ones via ultrasound. We were happy to hear that they were in position for us to find out what gender they were going to be! Come March sometime Marty and I will be welcoming two very active little boys into our home. It was very fun to see them this week. They were constantly squirming and turning and making all sorts of movements. I have been feeling them squirming around in there for a couple of weeks now. I'm sure they are going to be so fun.

A few days before our "official" ultrasound Marty had me come into the Emergency Room one night while he and Gordon were working to let one of the other doctors take a peek and see what he could tell us about our babies. I took Debbie along, we usually try to find something to do when the boys are working, and the room was probably 10 degrees colder than the rest of the hospital so she had grabbed Gordon's white coat for warmth. While we waited for the other doctor to come in Gordon was taking a peek and Debbie started diagnosing what she saw. It was quite a sight lol. I had a hard time holding in my laughter making it hard for Gordon to see anything. She told us we'd be having one boy and one girl.

A few minutes later the other doctor came in and he told Marty and I that if he touched the probe they would "become boys". We all had a good laugh. I guess in the past he has looked for a few people and he has 5 boys so he just thought he'd warn us. Although I secretly think Marty and Gordon were both thinking "please, touch the probe!!" haha. We were able to see two little boys. I was hoping to break his streak but it looks like it will continue.. He was right! Wednesday morning confirmed that the testosterone level in this house is increasing! I'm in trouble ;) We are excited to welcome our little boys and cannot wait to meet them!!
