Marty and I took a day trip down to Vegas. We were wanting to try out Wet N' Wild water park. We decided to go down the night before to have a little time to ourselves. It was our first full day and nigh away from Colten and Carter! I'll admit I was a little excited for my FIRST full nights sleep without interruption in about 6 months give or take a little (even though the boys have been sleeping quite well lately). After a fun time walking the strip, a fancy dinner, and watching the Heat win game 7 of the series for the Championship, and walking the strip some more, it was time for bed. We had both been in a deep sleep when something startled us! Marty stumbled over to the door to see some random guy banging on our door at 4:00 in the monring!! He continually banged on our door and he kept asking for us to open up! He called us Devin a number of times.. We told him he had the wrong room but he didn't believe us. After about 5 minutes he finally went away.. Only to come back about 10 minutes later to continue to beg us to let him in. Marty tried once again to convince him he had the wrong room while I called the front desk. So much for my night of uninterrupted sleep :( I was quite bummed.. and of course it took me 30+ minutes to fall back asleep. Darn you stupid drunk guy!
Friday morning we woke with no more disturbances and headed out for Wet N' Wild! We were both looking forward to a fun and enjoyable day in the sun together. We had a blast!! There were a number of fun rides and the temperature was perfect. We couldn't have picked a better day to go. Marty had picked a perfect spot to keep our towels and we relaxed there a few times in between water slides. It was a short but enjoyable trip!! We sure did miss our little boys though!!! We were quite anxious to get home to see their cute smiling faces.
