Our 4th of July

July has been a busy month for us! Or so it seems.. We had an enjoyable 4th of July! The Larsen side of our family came over to swim and BBQ. Grandpa Quaife and Grandma Bev came up to celebrate the 4th with us. We all had a great time! Eating good food and cooling off by the pool with good company. We all had to jump through a somewhat seemingly small tube.. It's amazing what peer pressure will do to you lol. Marty and Gordon were scheduled to work 2pm-11pm of course.. They have worked quite a few holidays this last year. I am hoping it means less if any holidays this coming year? The party wrapped up around then and I'm thinking we all went to relax for a few hours.. Or at least the boys and I did.

After our nap went over to my mom's for more food and family celebrations. We also played a few games of pounce. It's MY favorite! I think I probably like it a little too much. Oh well. :) Unfortunately, the Moss/Reeder side of my family is extremely terrible at taking photo's so I am yet again without any photo's from any of our activities. I will make sure it happens next time though!

Later that evening we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's (Gordon and Debbie's) house to watch fireworks. Somehow Marty and Gordon got off a little early and made it in time to watch the fireworks with us in the Petersen's backyard. After which we shot off some of our own fireworks which is always fun.

We are so glad that Grandpa Quaife and Grandma Bev were able to come celebrate the 4th of July with  us!! It was great to see them and we had an enjoyable time visiting with them! Marty and I really enjoyed being able to have everyone over to our place for the BBQ. We are looking forward to doing it again soon. Along with working plenty, climbing, lake outings, and any other events we've been up to this month we have had a great July!
