Our 7 Month Olds!!

Colten and Carter are officially 7 months old according to their birthday. If I were going off of their actual due date they would only be 6 months old. They are doing great with meeting all of their milestone goals. They have been learning to eat solids. They both love food! Carter always enjoys his bottle while Colt prefers actual food. I have actually had him refuse his bottle but devour a serving of baby food. Neither of our little guys enjoy oatmeal.. they will eat it but they don't exactly like it. I think it's the chunks. Colten completely gags anytime I give him anything with chunks in it.. Even small chunks! We mix in little bits of other things like crackers and muffins and stuff like that. Carter is a pretty good little eater and will eat just about anything but there is something comforting about his bottle that he just loves. They are both figuring out how to sit independently. It is taking some time but we will get there eventually.  I am excited for them to be able to sit.

Our little Colt man has become quite the little mover!! He started rolling a while ago but now he likes to scoot and pivot and go  ANYWHERE he wants. Just about. He is limited because he has to roll over or pivot but man he is trouble already. Boy are we in for some fun! I don't know how he does what he does but he is good at it. I have always wondered with how fast they run their little legs all the time.. I'm sure once they can crawl and then walk and run they will be Everywhere. His round little head sure makes a cute face! He is still a momma's boy. He loves to smile and laugh. He is quite a happy little man.

Carter bug is still our relaxed little guy. He will hang out where ever longer than Colt and his need to be held. He likes to just kick it wherever he is. Literally. He also is figuring out his ability to move. He isn't as "mobile" as Colt is but he is getting there. Carter isn't quite pivoting quite yet but I'm sure he will be soon. Right now we are working on sitting and they are also figuring that out but they only last about 20 seconds before they tip over. Carter acts like he wants to crawl. He has gotten up on his hands and knees a few times only to give up in his frustration after a few seconds.. We will get there as well eventually. He continues to be a Daddy's boy.

Colten and Carter are both such smiley and happy little guys. Though they are a lot of work they make up for it when they are in a good mood. They love to play together, with our help, and usually are constantly laughing. They have the CUTEST laughs. Both of our little guys are THEE most fun in the morning. I wish everyone could play with them right when they wake up.  They are always in our bed by morning and they both have big smiles on their faces and are squirming and kicking ready to play and laugh with you.  It is the greatest : ) It's the best part of my day!
