This weekend we had the opportunity to go to California with my mom and see my new niece. Marty had to work all weekend and it was the week before finals so I figured it would be a good time for the boys and I to go down and see our new niece and cousin.
Colten and Carter absolutely LOVE Will. He is a year and 1 month older than them but it was hard to tell because they got along so well! The major differences were obvious of course.. Walking, communicating somewhat well, and being such a good helper! Will is the cutest little guy around.
Emma was, of course, not as fun.. They weren't allowed to touch her. She sure is cute but boy did they want to touch her. We are still working on being nice to each other let alone a newborn! They had fun crawling all around Taylor and Heather's new apartment. Along with bumping their heads, tipping over on their wood floor, and playing with their christmas tree.. It was a great visit though. We are SO happy for Taylor, Heather, and Will. Emma is a doll. As we left I was surprised to see that Will was upset we were leaving. Or at least that I was taking Colten and Carter.. I offered to let them stay ;) They will be coming here in a couple of weeks and we cannot wait to see them again!!
We got home just in time to see daddy driving by us on his way to work :( so we had to take one more trip.. We had to go to his work to see him!! As a bonus we also got to see Grandpa!
He told us we were never allowed to go anywhere without him again. He missed us just TOO much. We missed daddy a lot as well! We had a fun time in California but it is always nice to come home to your own bed. The boys were sure happy to see theirs! Plus we have lots and lots of white stuff that we need to play in! Yay for snow!
