This year we spent most of Thanksgiving Day with the Larsen side of our family. Everyone came over and the boys put up Christmas lights while the rest of us started playing with the little ones and trying to help cook. I have come to realize I am not much help with the boys.. But I try to help where I can.

Later that day we went to my mom's house and visited them for a little while. We had a pretty nice enjoyable day. They boys can be tough at times but we sure enjoy them. They tried turkey and corn for the first time. They are loving the ability to eat "real people food". I think their favorite part was the cool whip on top of our pie! We enjoyed the delicious food that was made and for the time and effort it took to make all of it. We are so grateful for the opportunity we have to celebrate all we are thankful for.
You guys have a beautiful family! SOMEDAY we'll meet up...weather it be in St. George or if you guys come out to the STL area...we're only a little over an hour from Springfield, IL, and I know Marty served a good chunk there.
ReplyDeleteThank you! You are so sweet :) Yes someday we will! I know Marty wants to get back there someday. Hopefully here in the next couple of years. We will definitely let you know when we make it out there!
