Red Hill

For the first time in a while Marty and I both have a Saturday off of work and free from other obligations (homework, climbing with a family he takes out often, and chores). He did sneak in a tiny bit of yard work this morning and I was able to go to the gym and get a workout in.

 We decided that since this (free from other obligations stuff) rarely happens that we should get the boys out on such a nice day. We took Colten and Carter for a walk up by the Red Hill. It was quite warm in the sunshine but the slight breeze that came along made it chillier than I would've liked.  The boys were relatively good sports. Colten doesn't seem to like being constrained - by a carseat or stroller etc. After our walk we went to lunch together. The boys did pretty well and even tried ice cream for the first time! Colt's reaction was hilarious.. I unfortunately didn't have my camera ready so you only get to see his second experience but it was still pretty cute. They have also developed a love for drinks with straws. They would squeal every time we took our drink away from them.. So much for it being "ours" ever again. ;)

Tonight we are going to have even more fun when we hot tub with Grandpa at his house. I know the boys will love it. They absolutely love playing in water wether it's a bath, a hot tub, or a pool!! They are completely happy playing together especially in water.
