Girls Disney Trip 2k14

I was fortunate enough to be able to go on a girls trip with Deb, Becca, Sheri and Angie to Disneyland and California Adventure this past weekend. Angie and Becca went down a day early and Deb, Sheri and I went down Wednesday night around 7 due to teaching gym classes and college classes (Marty).  The boys were off work so I found sitters for the times that Marty had class and it worked out perfectly!!

The first day we hit California Adventure and I'm glad we did.  I enjoyed having a full day there. We didn't wait longer than 15 minutes to get on any ride and we got to ride all the rides we wanted some even more than once! The weather was quite nice and cooled off a little but was nice with a jacket. It was a perfect day in my opinion. I really liked sticking to just one park a day. It's been about two years since I've been to California Adventure and I hadn't seen Carsland. It is an awesome new addition to the park. They have a ride called Racers that is a lot of fun!

I took a few extra pictures in cars land because the boys love cars so much!

The second day we went to Disneyland. Pete and the girls drove down late the night before and so the girls joined us in Disneyland while Pete worked. We got to ride all of the big rides and it was a lot of fun with the girls! Little kids always make Disneyland more enjoyable.

they are ready for Christmas

I had a lot of fun and am so glad I was able to go!! I didn't take as many pictures in Disneyland - we left early to get home at a decent hour. I am sure that I will see other pictures as I'm sure Sheri has some others I didn't get.

I will admit it was very hard to be away from my boys. I have been away from the twins with Marty but never all three at once.  It was hard on Colt and Carter to be away from me too. I got to FaceTime them the first night we were there and there was a second of happiness on their faces that instantly turned to crying as they realized I was not with them. It made me cry to see how upset they were. I love all three of my boys and missed them very much!! I am so glad to be home with them and who knows maybe we will all go to Disneyland as a family in the near future.
