This year for Thanksgiving Marty had to work the 14-23 shift at the hospital. It was "technically" a Moss/Reeder year but that shift made driving to Vegas (where my brothers were gathering) for Thanksgiving impossible. Fortunately, our parents were still accommodating and welcomed us with open arms on the off year! We celebrated with Gordon, Deb, Eric, Becca, and our little family. The big boys tried to put up Christmas lights as tradition (Colten and Carter made that difficult they just had to be outside with Papa, E, & Daddy) while the girls helped cook. Marty helped Gordon finish the next day while we played inside.
Deb made a delicious Turkey Breast that was divine! Quite possibly the best I've ever had. I also, sad to admit this, made my first batch of mashed potatoes lol at 24 years old :) hehe. I was happy to hear no one thought they were awful - though they are pretty easy to make. Silly I know. We enjoyed pie as always after our meal and the boys quickly went off to work.
Unfortunately, we only got pictures of us eating this year..

That's why I had Lorin take this quick one right before the boys and I left for Vegas with my Mom to see the Moss side for a few hours.

The Moss Thanksgiving was great as well! We arrived too late for food which was ok because I was still too full from my first meal. Though I am sure the Moss food was delicious as well!! We visited a lot, went for a walk, and played with the grandkids. It was enjoyable just being with everyone! I am glad we were able to go. It was a short trip but still nice. The boys and I headed back that night so we could be home about the time Daddy got off work. We had plans to be in Zion the next day and wanted to be back in time for our next adventure..
