Just after our 4th of July celebration we were able to go to Zion Ponderosa Ranch to spend time with the Larsen side of our family. We stayed in a huge house that was gorgeous! Grandma and Grandpa Larsen had four of their sons there along with their families. We met up there Saturday afternoon and stayed till Monday morning. The trip started out with Marty taking the boys all by himself and I went with a group and did the slot canyon Keyhole. It has been over 3 years since I have done a canyon. I was a little nervous going without Marty since he always helps me with any difficult drops but Eric and Phil helped me out. I had a great time!
After the canyon we met up with everyone at the house and had dinner. The food was excellent. We had a fun filled weekend of great company, good food, fun games, and many other activities. Down at the lodge they had skeet-shooting, a pool, zip line, ping pong, horseback riding, ATV's, mini golf, horseshoes, and all sorts of things along with a movie theater room in the house we were staying in.
Sunday morning we woke up and had a family devotional with a skit that some of us performed in. We all went and did our various activities and most of us eventually met up at the pool. It was definitely cooler than St. George but still quite warm. Gordon ended up taking a second group through keyhole that afternoon.

Sunday night was filled with slides, pounce games, and the game battle of the sexes. There were a few people who hadn't met the boys yet so we were glad to finally introduce them this trip. We had a lot of fun spending time with everyone! We can't wait to do it again next year :)
