Updates!!

Updates-

Colten: 

Colten is such a little sweetheart. He has started to snuggle just a little bit with you at times. He has thee cutest little smile. He scrunches his nose, squints his eyes, and smiles so big you can see all of his teeth! (By the way he has 8 teeth!) He also loves to make faces. He goes in spurts where he'll make one and then move on to the next one and stops making the last one all together. It started with pursing his lips together in a slight smile to a pouty lip that was adorable and now it has become a type of duck lips that are open. He is quite a silly little guy. Colt is very adventurous. He will go anywhere and everywhere with no regard to what you tell him. Yes, I know he's still little but still.  His newest adventure (sort of) is opening all the cabinets in the kitchen and digging through them. Haha he loves to make messes and gets into everything. Colten is standing and walking along everything. He has taken 4-5 steps at a time and then drops.You can see it in his eyes his determination to walk but he just isn't quite there yet. 

Carter:

Carter is also a little sweetheart. His smile is always open mouthed but adorable as ever too! He doesn't make faces like at all. Actually he didn't until about 2 weeks ago.. He has started scrunching his face and breathing in and out quickly. It is too cute. Carter is a momma's boy. He didn't start out that way but he has really become one. He looks to me for almost everything as if for a "it's ok Carter" or a "no, no don't touch" but does it anyway. He knows quickly if I've left the room and usually knows where I've gone. Carter has a mouthful of 7 teeth. Carter has started to snuggle also at times. It is fun to see Colten and Carter's similarities.  He walks around all coffee tables, couches, etc. He recently started walking with the standing/walking toy that Grandma got him for Christmas. He is cruising but still doesn't walk on his own yet either.


I am sure without a doubt that both of my little men will be walking very soon!

Colten & Carter:

Colten and Carter are best friends. They love to play together and follow each other everywhere. They always seem slightly less happy when the other isn't around and they grin as big as they can and wave as soon as they see their brother (which is usually when their brother has woken from his nap)! They have recently decided that they are afraid of strangers or family members they don't see often. I had to leave them with a woman in our ward for a couple hours one morning while I went to work and as I was talking with her they began crying because they knew I was leaving. It was so sad and made it really hard for me to leave!!

We like to be together.
