So I know it isn't officially their first steps but its the first steps from one place to another that are intentional and that they actually did successfully from one destination to the other! SO HAPPY I was home to SEE IT. It was even on Eric's 17th birthday so it'll be easy to remember when it was. Unfortunately, I was feeling rather sick and the boys were acting really fussy and seemed sick as well so Marty wasn't going to take us anywhere.. Not even to celebrate with Uncle E! We are so bummed we missed the celebration! Hope he can forgive us!!
After an attempted going to sleep for the boys (they were still up there laughing/crying after 15 minutes) So daddy brought them back down and thats when this happened..
The camera of course didn't start when I thought it did so I missed most of Colt in the above video but here is another of Colt and Carter's second attempt.
There were of course lots more videos. We caught some of just a few steps and others that were better. Carter can also walk as well as Colt. He was just TOO excited to show off in this video.. Soo cute to watch his excitement! Carter had actually been doing it throughout the day. However, Colten had started acting like he was going to walk first.. About 2 weeks ago we thought he was getting close but it turns out he just wanted to wait for Carter to get closer.. Then they both decided to start walking last night! Such a fun experience for Marty and I!
