I have finally been to a 4th of July in Midway!! Only took a few (let's not say how many) years. ;) This year the family reunion was held in Midway at Great Grandpa & Grandma Larsen's beautiful home. We stayed at the Zermatt Resort with Aunt Angie, Uncle Christian, and Lexi. The rest of our family was also there but in a different room. What a beautiful place it is! The mountains are gorgeous and the weather was pretty nice as well.
After checking into our rooms on Friday we went to Great Grandpa & Grandmas where the celebrations had begun. Lots of family visiting and lots of yummy food! The boys instantly found the basketballs and wanted to play basketball!

Marty and I decided the boys needed to go to bed at their usual time as traveling is tough on them because they never sleep well in the car.. Fortunately, I talked Marty into letting us wake them up in time for the fireworks. What's the 4th of July if you don't get to celebrate it with your little ones?!

The next morning most of us were planning to go back packing.. We were not up to taking the boys on this outing though. So we hung around and spent some time visiting and eating some more. Craven and Lexi wanted to meet up with us so we decided to go to the Hogle Zoo with them, Aunt Sheri, & Iva! It was the boys first time at the zoo (as well as mine).

As we drove home Sunday I looked back to check on the boys only to find Carter staring at me like this. He busted into a smile and began laughing as I did. It was adorable. Marty was mid conversation and about to be upset with me but looked at Carter and started laughing too!!
