I have only been to Wet n Wild one other time and it was with Marty. This summer I got invited to go with Angie. It was originally a girls/friends/sister trip but her friends unable to make it so it left it to a sisters trip! I rode down with Angie and Becca met us there! Sheri was unable to make it due to teaching at the gym. We missed her!
It was a Friday with very few people - rare I'm sure. We rode every ride we wanted (some multiple times) and never waited more than 10 minutes in line!! It was Awesome! The toughest part was pulling a few huge tubes up a gnarly flight of stairs but we made it work. I think all of us agreed that our favorite ride was the Tornado. It's a new ride this summer. The tube can hold up to 4 people. You get water "dumped" on you to start with the waterfall at the beginning and then there is a HUGE drop followed by getting splashed even more as you ride the rest of the tube out and get dumped on again to end! It was a lot of fun. We definitely shrieked a number of times. We were sure that whoever was across from us on the tube was going to fly on to us or even worse that we'd flip!
We hit all the rides we wanted and then relaxed by the wave pool then hit some more rides and relaxed again. The lazy river was another great place to just float on tubes and chill together. It was really nice for Angie and I to actually be able to lay down by the pool and enjoy a little time to ourselves.. We of course missed our little ones though. Wet n Wild has an awesome kids area that we will all have try out soon!
