Atlantis: Day 3, 4, 5, & traveling home

Day 3 and 4 we spent more time by the pool and enjoying the beautiful weather. We enjoyed lunch and would relax in our room for a few hours while reading a book with the door open. After which we would go snorkel for the afternoon.

Atlantis has a "hidden ruins" that had a ton of awesome things there for us to look at along with a ton of marine life! It was really cool.

We spent the morning at the pool again and then paddle boarded in the lagoon.  Our view for lunch that looked out over the lagoon back at the hotel.

One of us is over there to the left paddle boarding.

It's amazing how HUGE some of the fish were! I believe that's a Grouper.
Underwater walkways through an aquarium.  It was so cool to stand under a shark!
An awesome bridge we discovered while exploring over the hammer head sharks exhibit.
Live music at the Marina.
Our ending to the evening drinking a virgin strawberry daiquiri. Yum!
Our last morning was spent at the Dolphin Cay where Marty got to hold and kiss a dolphin for free. Complimentary from Atlantis. I had to watch from a distance but some of the tricks were awesome!

Marty was of course in the farthest away group.

A couple pictures of the inside of the hotel. It was amazing!

Our flight was delayed for 4+ hours after our already 4 hours layover. It was going to be a rough evening. Until I saw that there was going to be another flight to Las Vegas leaving just an hour after our original flight departure time. So I decided to go to the other gate (that was on the total other end of the airport or so it seemed). Fortunately, we were the first ones there to ask and we got put on stand by and made the flight. Huge relief! My Dad was picking us up from the airport which was already a late time not including the delays and we both had to work Monday morning and needed sleep. We rolled in to town at about 3:30 am and got about 3 or so hours of sleep..

Our trip was amazing though! We are so grateful to our parents for all of their help watching our children and taking us to and from the airport and saving us a parking fee. Thank you for making this a wonderful and very memorable vacation for us!!! We love you all!
